Leo Sadlek has been making furniture since 1978 when he began studying Industrial Arts at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, USA. He claims to have begun carving when he was 12 years old. But we can’t find any of the ‘Indian Head Boy Scout Kerchief Slides’ he keeps talking about, so we can’t corroborate this.

Leo makes a variety of furniture and furnishing items in his workshop in Warragul, Victoria. On these pages you can view the eclectic mix he has created. Some of the influences apparent in his designs include Art Nuevo, Art Deco, Bauhaus and the Arts and Crafts Movement. We feel the list should include the effects of watching too many afternoon cartoons in the 1960’s
On the Furniture pages you can view examples of furniture made both for clients’ specific needs as well as speculative designs sold through furniture galleries. Production Clocks will take you on a tour of the many clocks that Leo designed specifically for large and limited production. The final category, Themed Clocks will show just what kind of mischief you can get up to when you get too obsessive about anything…such as clocks!
