"The difference between the anonymity of a mass-produced piece of furniture or craftwork, and a piece commissioned or bought direct from the maker is enormous in terms of pleasure for the buyer, and satisfaction for the maker." Jane La Scala. Creator of Woodlink. 1996

Product line: Carvings & small sculptures from Australian native timbers. Notes: I carve simple bird forms and unique mini-sculptures from Australian native timbers found from the gardens of friends, muncipal gardens, farmlands, and the sea shore. My aim is to produce art forms visually pleasing, tactile and sensual, exploring the natural beauty and idiosyncrasies of our native timbers. Each piece is unique, dependant upon the timber variety, structure, grain, natural imperfections such as gum, knots and grub holes.

Mob 0418 136 147 Email: john@roseadora.com Website: www.roseadora.com Product line : Custom built furniture. Notes: Over the past 20 years I have worked with makers of fine furniture, cabinet makers & shop fitters. I have a preference for reclaimed / recycled timbers & veneers. For me, the design of furniture has always been about moving away from the standard 'square box' shape into softer angles - incorporating extra elements of interest into a dining table or bookcase, for example. .
